Homopolymer
INEOS Technologies offers a full range of homopolymer products. Whether you need a fractional melt flow resin with high melt strength and thermal performance properties or want to improve cycle time efficiencies, Innovene PP technology can help meet the need. Major homopolymer applications include fibres, tapes (raffia), cast and biaxially oriented (BOPP) films, compounding and articles made by injection moulding, blow moulding and thermoforming.
Random copolymer
INEOS Technologies random copolymer products are ideal for high clarity applications demanding impact strength and good strength and thermal properties. Containers and bottles made from high clarity polypropylene have clarity approaching that of amorphous polymers and exhibit distinct performance advantages. Major applications include thin-walled injection moulding, blow moulding, high-transparency films, medical products, and packaging.
Impact copolymer
INEOS Technologies impact copolymer products help to solve the increasing demand for materials with improved balance of impact resistance and stiffness. Compared to competitive impact copolymers, INEOS Technologies impact copolymers have higher impact resistance at comparable stiffness. Alternatively, the technology can provide higher stiffness at comparable impact resistance.
Impact copolymers provide outstanding toughness, low-temperature impact and good thermal properties. Products made from these resins can be steam-sterilized or autoclaved and resist stress cracking when subjected to most end-use environments. The products also have excellent resistance to warpage at elevated temperatures.
This provides greater design versatility and flexibility for manufacturers of automotive interiors, consumer goods, appliances and other durables. The resins also have superior colourability and processability.
