With more than fifty years experience and understanding of the different polyethylene market sectors, INEOS has tailored its technology portfolio to give products which consistently satisfy and exceed the demanding requirements of the market place.

Innovene™ G 

The Innovene™ G process has the capability to manufacture a wide range of linear low, medium density and high density products from a single reactor using Ziegler, chromium and metallocene catalyst systems. The process has produced over 150 different grades and this portfolio is being continually expanded by units operated by INEOS as well as licensees of the technology.

Innovene™ S 

The two reactor Innovene™ S process is capable of producing a market leading MDPE/HDPE products using Ziegler and chromium catalyst systems. This catalyst and reactor flexibility allows significant and straightforward grade-slate optimisation in response to market changes, and adds significant incremental value through specialty product areas, such as bimodal PE100 pipe.

Combined Innovene™ G and S

A unique advantage of combining Innovene™ G and S technologies is the ability to provide complete coverage for the full PE product range. For some investments such an option may prove attractive given that world scale crackers are now capable of manufacturing well in excess of 1 million tpa ethylene.
