Polyolefin Catalysts - Polyethylene Catalysts

INEOS Technologies offers an extensive range of catalyst systems for use in the Innovene™ G and S PE processes. These include advanced Ziegler-Natta catalysts, high quality chromium catalysts and the recently commercialized metallocene catalysts.

Ziegler-Natta Catalysts 

INEOS Technologies provides high activity Ziegler-Natta catalysts for both the Innovene™ G and S PE processes. For Innovene™ G these include the SDX™ and Novacat™ catalyst ranges. For Innovene™ S these include the MT™ catalyst range. These advanced Ziegler-Natta catalysts deliver a wide range of narrow molecular weight products for blown and cast film, injection moulding and rotational moulding applications. 

These catalysts are used worldwide in both Innovene™ PE processes and are supplied by INEOS Technologies ready for use.  The catalysts can be injected directly into the Innovene™ PE polymerization reactor and do not need a capital-intensive pre-polymerization step. 

Chromium Catalysts 

A range of chromium catalysts is available for use in both the Innovene™ G and S PE processes to manufacture broad molecular weight products for blow moulding, pipe and film applications.

The catalysts are supplied directly from INEOS Technologies approved manufacturers and are activated on-site prior to injection into the polymerization reactor using proprietary technology.

Metallocene Catalyst 

Following the development of the Innovene™ G PE metallocene technology, INEOS Technologies now offers its proprietary HPLL metallocene catalyst range for the high performance blown and cast film market. These catalysts are supplied by INEOS Technologies ready for use and deliver outstanding product properties when used in conjunction with the Innovene™ G process.
