The use of antifoam permits greater efficiency in the reactor, stripper and other downstream vessels by reducing foam and subsequent carry-over of PVC to the VC recovery system.
It is efficient as a stripper antifoam, by reducing foam formation and enhancing thermal transfer from steam to polymer slurry.
The INOVOL antifoam has been used effectively for many years within INEOS ChlorVinyls and other PVC producing plants world-wide.
